Privacy & Trust

Privacy is a Right.

Our architecture is designed to protect the individual while empowering the collective. Learn how we handle your data with absolute transparency.

Identity Verification
To ensure the integrity of the 'One Person, One Vote' standard, we verify identities using military-grade authentication and Firebase App Check. This prevents bot manipulation and multiple entries from a single individual.
Anonymous Sentiment
While your identity is verified to participate, your specific choices and commentary are cryptographically decoupled from your profile in our public aggregation datasets. We see 'The Pulse', not 'The Person'.
No Data Resale
PulsePublic is a civic-first platform. We never sell user data to advertisers, political consultants, or third-party data brokers. Our mission is pure aggregate sentiment analysis for governance, not profit.
Security Infrastructure
We utilize advanced reCAPTCHA v3 and Firebase security rules to protect the platform. All data is encrypted at rest and in transit, ensuring that your participation remains secure and private.
Data Processing Manifesto

PulsePublic ("we," "us," or "our") operates as a non-partisan digital town hall. When you use our services, you trust us with your verified status. This manifesto outlines how we honor that trust.

1. Information We Collect

To maintain platform integrity, we collect your email address and basic profile information via Firebase Authentication. We also collect device-level signals through reCAPTCHA to distinguish between human citizens and automated agents.

2. De-Identification Process

Upon submission of a survey or poll, the payload is processed through a hashing layer. The vote itself is recorded in our database as a unique entry linked to a one-way hashed version of your User ID. This allows us to ensure you've only voted once while making it computationally difficult to reverse-map votes to specific email addresses.

We reserve the right to update this policy to reflect new security standards. Users will be notified of significant changes to data handling processes.
